Background

Capitalizing on their taco truck’s success, Taco Guy approached JUICE with two main goals.

  • Build a website that is attractive and authentic.

  • Clearly define the separation between the food truck and their newly established restaurant.

The challenge: Design a modern restaurant website for a rapidly-expanding brand.

UI Design Overhaul

Embracing Taco Guy's unique flair, we incorporated a handwritten style across the website, bridging traditional Mexican aesthetics with modern UI design standards. This design choice not only highlights the restaurant's personality but also enhances the user interface, making every visit fresh and engaging.

Clear Property Info Layout

Our primary focus with UX was creating a key separation between the taco truck and restaurant information. Users can easily access key information such as hours, menus and catering details in a logical and attractive layout.

Interactive Navigation

With a spinning tortilla and only the primary links, Taco Guy’s website navigation is clean, simple and effective. Pages are labelled plainly so users can find the info they need without any issue (though they might spend a few extra seconds making the tortilla spin in circles.)

Engaging Restaurant Menu Pages

With restaurants always updating their offerings, sometimes people get caught in routines of eating the same meals every visit. While Taco Guy’s menu pages feature menus coded directly on the page (a very important step in local restaurant SEO) we also added a random drink generator to increase awareness of their fully stocked bar offerings.

Responsive Website Design

Understanding the on-the-go nature of today's diners, Taco Guy's website was fully optimized for mobile devices. This ensures that whether you're on a desktop dreaming of dinner or browsing on your phone, the website delivers a seamless, engaging experience, mirroring the quality and vibe of the restaurant itself.
